Dr Holger Hoock
Holger Hoock grew up near Heidelberg in Germany. He studied History, Politics, and Law in Freiburg, Germany, and at Pembroke College, Cambridge, and holds a Doctorate in Modern History from the University of Oxford (2001). He has taught at the Universities of Cambridge and Liverpool, where he was also the Founding Director of the Eighteenth-Century Worlds Research Center. From 2011, he will be teaching at the University of Pittsburgh as the Carroll Amundson Chair in British History. -
